"Bombay Sapphire pours to a clear color and releases a fragrant bouquet that combines herbs, perfume, and rubbing alcohol. It seems a little thinner in consistency than other liquors and while it does produce legs on the side of a glass, they fall apart quickly. The taste of Bombay Sapphire is quite strong with the taste of various herbs and alcohol. Underlying flavors include those of black licorice, a hint of lemon, and different spices. This dry gin leaves a long, slowly fading aftertaste that is woody and interesting. Bombay Sapphire is a little stronger than other distilled spirits with 47 percent alcohol by volume (94 proof). A single ounce serving contains 79 calories, 1 mg of sodium, and no fat, protein, or carbohydrates."
