Jameson Irish Whiskey - Litre

Jameson is distilled three times for maximum smoothness and purity and is aged and bottled in Ireland. The principal ingredients are malted Irish barley and pure water. The malt is dried without peat smoke, thus, the smoky character traditionally associated with other whisky types is deliberately absent from Jameson. Jameson Irish Whiskey is aged well beyond the minimum legal maturation period of three years and spends between five and seven years slowing maturing in Bourbon barrels and Spanish oloroso-sherry oak casks. This process allows the true whiskey flavours to come through and thus Jameson is renowned for its clean, full flavoured smooth taste. Mellow aromas with hints of toasted wood and sherry undertones. The taste is round and smooth, with sweet, spicy wood and biscuit tones and the finish is dry and incredibly smooth.
