The king of Italian wines. Amarone is an intensely fragrant wine, dry and pleasantly bitter (Amarone is Italian for bitter).

After harvest they are left for months on racks in ventilated attics dry, so that at least 30% of their initial weight loss. Amarone is aged at least 2 years, but after 5 years the best structure and harmony come into its own.
Single vineyard "I Comunali" is 9,46 ha. It is south-facing, on a steep-sloped limestone hillside in the Fumane Valley. The vineyard benefits from a warm microclimate, which is illustrated by the olive trees surrounding it. The vines are trained on pergola trellises.
