This wine is relatively tight knit compared to the Merlot from the Brookman Vineyard. Very deep crimson colour. Restrained nose of cedar, spice and mulberry followed by violet and marzipan end notes.The palate structure is relatively tight, but will evolve. Flavours of mulberry, spice and liquorice. Fine dry firmish tannins, followed by a long aftertaste.
