Millaman Reserva Carmenere 2007

Wine made from this rare Bordeaux varietal showing black berry flavours and subtle cedar and herb notes. Medium-bodied with an elegant finish. 90 percent Carménère, 10 percent Cabernet Sauvignon Excellent vintage from a hot and dry year. Carménère and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were hand-picked during the last week of April. 100 percent of blend matured in French oak barrels. Deep and intense violet with purple tinges. At first spicy notes, then red fruit flavours with menthol hints well integrated with toasty oak flavours. Very good balance between spicy and fruit flavours and barrel maturation. Structured wine, persistent with a great length.
